Dorothy Kaufmann

The Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida would not be the community-centered resource it is today without our late director, Dorothy Kaufmann. Her magnetic personality lit up every room, and she poured her whole self into this sanctuary. As we move toward our future, we strive to embody her spirit, vision, and tenacity. Her legacy lives on in every animal we save, every child we inspire, and every step we take to protect the wild.
